Welcome to Cosmotrans International Ltd. We hope you will find the following pages both useful and informative.
Regardless of whether you are a multinational corporation looking for supply chain solutions or a private shipper looking to send a suitcase to Hong Kong, we can help you.
Cosmotrans was established in Johannesburg, in 1982 and was the first neutral wholesale airfreight forwarder in South Africa.
Cosmotrans International Ltd was established in the UK in 1992 under the name of " Independent Cargo Consolidators " to service the needs of freight agents operating in the Southern African market. Today Cosmotrans is part of a global network offering both import and export consolidation services to agents in need of world-wide airfreight solutions.
As an independent break-bulk agent and consolidator our clients are assured of complete neutrality and confidentiality.
Cosmotrans believes that quality is better than quantity. Our operations have an ever driving belief that its better to do the job properly once, than do it half heartedly and have to return to the job. Our office has substantial knowledge in airfreight export, imports; sea freight export, import, distribution, and projects. We arrange, co-ordinate and monitor a variety of activities in these fields to suit the needs of our customers.
We have a controlled operation, where it is made easier for our clients to arrange shipments, and to obtain information. Communication and the dissemination of information is paramount in achieving our customers goals and for this reason our operations are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, where phones are diverted to the duty supervisor, for the out of hours periods.
Additional to this we have developed an in-house tracking system, in which customers can check on status of shipment right from the collection of the freight to the delivery at destination.
Our extensive, but ever growing network of agents around the world assist us in achieving a superior service to our clients.
